Have fun at year 7 camp?

I'm sure you did, with all those lovely year sevens.

Anyway, this is the blog you should stop marking at.
By next week, or perhaps even the end of this week, I hope to be certain of what I'm doing and I will hopefully change the layout of this thing by next week too.

The aim of my experiment is to 'investigate whether or not temperature plays a part in the effectiveness of Blu Tack'.

Here's an outline of the method of my experiment.
1. Find things to stick on my wall that are made of the same material
2. Divide Blu Tack equally among the paper.
3. Stick onto wall.
4. Keep note of the temperature each day.
5. Observe the blu tack and whether or not the paper is showing an signs of sagging or whatever.
6. Repeat

I'm hypothesising that the hotter it is, the more effect there will be on the Blu Tack, similar to rubber. Because when it's very hot, rubber bands and stuff melt and becoming sticky and break.

Clearly, I need to do more research into the matter, and this shall be done. Soon.

See you later, science blog thingy.

  1. Your blog is hilarious to read. A few things:
    1. You need to work out a different way of treating the blutack, rather than just sticking it on your wall and waiting. This is not a scientific experiment.
    2. You need to make sure that your test is a FAIR test (read your booklet if you need to revise what a fair test is)...

So far you've got my approval to do the project, but it largely does depend on your actual prac and exactly how you're planning to do it.

  2. Haha. Thanks..at least it's something and yeah, you're right. It's a bit dodgy at this stage. Any suggestions on how I could make it more 'scientific' and not just decorating my room?
